Payment and Rates
Our rates range from $100-$250 per session, however BrightMind is dedicated to equal access to high quality care for all community members and we will not turn clients away for financial reasons. We offer a sliding scale and pro bono services to those who qualify to make sure that we are meeting this mission. We do not accept insurance, and Clients are responsible for full payment of fees after services are rendered. We accept all forms of payment.
Insurance
The BrightMind Therapy clinic is considered an out-of-network provider group, and therefore we do not accept insurance directly. We do provide a superbill (a billing statement specifically for reimbursement) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement depending on your benefits. Health insurance companies may provide some coverage for mental health treatment delivered by an out -of-network behavioral/mental provider like us. Most PPO (Preferred Provider Option) insurance plans reimburse for out-of-network mental/behavioral health providers. Please check your benefits to inquire about coverage and reimbursement. We strongly recommend that you submit billing statements (issued by my practice in the insurance-compliant format and referred to as a Superbill) if you have a PPO or similar plan.

- I am calling to inquire about my benefits for an out-of-network behavioral healthcare provider.
- Under my plan, am I eligible to see an out-of-network provider?
- Will I by reimbursed for costs of seeing an out-of-network behavioral healthcare provider, and if so at what rate of the full fee?
- Do I have a deductible that needs to be met before I am eligible to be reimbursed?
